The proposed project includes reMao:ing approximately ISO Met of wooden skit fence at
the Boulder Housing Partners owned apartment complex. The applicant has
demonstrated that the project will not adversely impact the floodplain. A copy of the
Ammlplain development permit and site plan is attached.
This floodplain development permit was approved by Planning and Development
Scrixices staff on.fuly 6, 2009, and the decision may be called up before Planning [bard

Conditions of Approval
The proposed project/activity is approved on the basis that it satisfies applicable requirements of Chapter
9-3-3, "Floodplain Regulations," Boulder Revised Code 1981. Other floodplain requirements as set forth in
Chapter 9-3-3 which are not specifically outlined in the conditions of approval below remain applicable to this
project/activity.
The fence shall be securely anchored to resist damage and washing away as debris during flooding
events.
A fence permit will be required. The fence permit application shall include structural calculations indicating
how the fence will resist loads due to flood forces.
The applicant shall obtain a site inspection and approval from the City of Boulder Floodplain and Wetlands
Administrator upon completion of the projects.
