Hi Ed:
This on the agenda as an update item only. Tonight, I'll very briefly explain to the Board the status of
discussions relating to exploration of alternatives to the demolition (a goal of the imposition of a stay-of-
demolition) and our mnversation last week about setting up a meeting to do this. The listing of pending stays-
of-demolition on the agenda has been a practice for a number of years.

Is it [he City's typical prac[ice to hold Board diswssions of quasi-judicial matters without providing formal notice to the
Applicants? As j~ou know, I represented the Uberoi Esta[e a[ [he January heazing. My colleagues have informed me that
they have not been notified concerning this evening's discussion of the "819~h Sveet stay of demolition," and neither have I.
Is ffiere a staff inemo associated with this discussion (I could not find one online). Absent notice and time to adequately
prepare for [his mat[er, I objectto any discussion of my clienCs demolition applica[ion at [his evening's heazing. I have [wo
conflicting matters, a Boulder County TDR hearing and a City training session on [he new land use code, tt~at are already
scheduled for 6:OOpm tonight. _
I will be wi[h John Griffi[h for Agenda Item 5(D), which is why I was reviewing [he Agenda, but that hearing is not
expected to commence until closer to 8:OOpm.
