CALL TO ORDER: T. Krueger called the meeting to order at 5:03 p.m. 2. BOARD HEARINGS: Docket No.: 2012 -04 Address: 736 Maxwell Applicant: Tom Shook Setback Variance: As part of a proposal to construct an addition to an existing single family residence located in the Mapleton Historic District, the applicant is requesting a variance to the rear yard and side yard adjacent street setback requirements of the RL -I zoning district. The resulting rear yard setback will be 18' -0" where 25' -0" is required and 15' -8" currently exists. The resulting side yard adjacent street setback will be 11' -0" where 25' -0" is required and 11' -0" currently exists. Section of the Land Use Regulations to be modified: Section 9 -7 -1, BRC 1981. Staff Presentation M. Lawson presented the item to the board. J. Hewat informed the board that the Landmarks Board was in support of th@ variance. Applicant's Presentation The applicant had nothing further to add to staff's presentation. Public Hearing No one from the public addressed the board. Board Discussion M. Hrisch, E. McCready, and T. Krueger supported the variance. Motion On a motion by M. Hirsch, seconded by E. McCready, the Board of "Zoning Adjustment approved (3 -0,) the application (Docket 2012 -04) as submitted. GENERAL. DISCUSSION: A. Approval of Minutes On a motion by T. Krueger, seconded by E. McCready , the Board of Zoning Adjustment approved (3 -0,) the April 12, 2012 minutes. B. Matters from the Board RSi C.
