Hello Trustees,
I'm a 10-year Boulder resident and homeowner in South Boulder. I run by the Hodges
property regularly as part of my job as a professional runner. That section of Marshall Road is
a highly frequented road for cycling and running. Not to mention a route to access the thin
OSMP property that connects Marshall Road and 93, which is highly used. A quick Strava
heatmap search shows the relative usage of these small parts of Boulder (attached). Sale of this
property would be irresponsible and counter to OSMP's mission. Development of the property
could impede the recreational usage of Marshall road and the nearby OSMP lands. It's
ludicrous to think that the Board could sell OSMP land in a time of biodiversity crisis. Why
not further protect the land?
I am curious to ask each member of the OSMP board, have you walked, run or biked by the
Hodges property or anywhere nearby and where specifically? I am requesting to get each
answer on the public record.
Thanks!
Clare Gallagher
