RESOLUTION NO. 1072
A RESOLUTION SCHEDULING A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE FORMATION OF TWO
GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICTS FOR THE NEXT REGULARLY SCHEDULED
COUNCIL MEETING ON JULY 20, 2010
WHEREAS, on June 29, 2010 the city manager received two petitions in the form
prescribed by section 8-4-3, "Petition to Initiate District," S.R.C. 1981,
WHEREAS, the city manager referred it to the City Council at the next regularly
scheduled council meeting on July 20, 2010, which is more than one week after the manager
received the petitions.
WHEREAS, City Council shall by resolution schedule a hearing on the matters for its
next regularly scheduled meeting.
WHEREAS, the manager has published notice of the hearing and the contents of the
petition in the same manner as notice preceding final passage of an ordinance is published.
WHEREAS all requirements of said chapter have been accomplished.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL THAT:
A public hearing on the formation of two general improvement districts is scheduled for July 20,
2010.
