FYi only. I let know that I’ve passed this along to our team. I also let her know that she was
correct that we’re focusing first on making sure all courts are safe, and then on making sure they’re
all in good condition. We won’t get there overnight but we’re on our way.
This relates to a conversation Gabriel and I had yesterday, where it will behoove us to make sure we
have/use standards for our condition assessments for courts. We can’t jump on courts that have just
wear and tear, but will jump on any safety issues (e.g. cracks that may exceed allowable tolerances
and create safety issues).
Thank you –

Hi Ali-
I'm a tennis player that attended the tennis/pickle ball meeting last week and heard you say to
send you the damaged tennis court pics from East Boulder Rec. Obviously, the other courts in
town are in worse condition but I haven't been on them for a while due to the danger and
aggravation.
I hope you can get us our tennis courts back and have scheduled maintenance as they are
crumbled and unusable. I've lived here for 35 years and have never seen our rec centers in
such run-down conditions with no hope to be repaired in the future.
