Project Purpose
●2A: majority of Boulder’s voters approved a 20-year tax renewal dedicated to arts,
culture, and heritage purposes.
●Additional funding begins in FY 2025.
●Research and prepare a Short-Term Needs and Funding Assessment for 2025
bridge year.
●Prepare for a deeper, more extensive planning process to update the current
Master Plan for the Arts & Culture department in the future.

ThereSquared Process
Our consulting team will engage in:
●Research and analysis in 3 major areas:
○Existing and future General Operating (GOS) grants
○Public art maintenance plan and staffing needs
○Current relevant City of Boulder plans and alignment
●Hosting a series of listening sessions and interviews to gain input into
the Short-term Needs and Funding Assessment
●Draft and present the Short-Term Needs and Funding Assessment
●Timeline: March -June 2024
