ROOTS MUSIC PROJECT

Three-part live music event series that will
feature a talented youth artist, two emerging
local acts, and one established regional act

•Saturday, July 27th 5-10 p.m.
•Saturday, August 24th 4-10 p.m.

CREATIVE CROSSWALK
What
Working with a mural artist to create an artistic crosswalk design to be installed
across Pleasant Street at Broadway
When
•Finalizing criteria with selection panel
•Mural artists to submit proposals by end of May
•Selection and installation in June/July
Where
Pleasant & Broadway intersection; intent is to flow up onto sidewalk
OTHER EFFORTS
•Power washing took place on May 2nd & 3rd
•Spring plantings on May 14th
•Investigate new murals & other public art installations
•Explore and plan for 14th Street lot activations
•Explore site for a permanent public art project
