Searching Tips:
Choose “unique” words to search that pertain only to the document you are looking for (i.e.vendor names, specific numbers, grant type, etc.).
Once the search results are completed, sort the results by the area that best fits your needs (i.e.name of document, date created, number of pages, etc.). This can be achieved by clicking on the “SORT RESULTS BY” menu at the top left of your search results page.
Locating a document might be easier if you look in the file folder (searching is not always required to find a document. In some cases, browsing can be effective to find the exact document you are looking for).
Utilizing quotation marks to close your word or term narrows your search results (i.e.“prairie dogs” searches for the 2 words together in a document and not “prairie” and “dogs” separate). This is suggested with all searches.
