The following are the action minutes of the November 7, 2018 City of Boulder Landmarks Board

1.Historic Preservation Plan Update

1.CALL TO ORDER
The roll having been called, Chair F. Sheets declared a quorum at 7:04 p.m. and the
following business was conducted.
2.VOTE ON THE LANDMARKS BOARD CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR POSITIONS
On a motion by A. Daniels seconded by B. Jellick, the Landmarks Board voted (5-0) to elect
F.Sheets as Chair of the Landmarks Board.
On a motion by B. Jellick, by seconded A. Daniels, the Landmarks Board voted (5-0) to
elect J. Decker as Vice Chair of the Landmarks Board.
3.APPROVAL OF MINUTES
On a motion by B. Jellick seconded by R. Pelusio, the Landmarks Board approved as
amended (5-0) the minutes from the October 3, 2018 Landmarks Board meeting.
4.UPDATE ON THE HARBECK-BERGHEIM HOUSE [00:55:26 audio minutes]
•Tina Briggs, Parks & Recreation Planner presented an update on the Harbeck-
Bergheim House and answered questions from the board.

5. PUBLIC COMMENT [01:24:06 audio minutes]
Kathryn Barth, 2940 20th St., spoke in support of, yet also expressed concern about, the
potential 14th Street historic district.
Cheri Belz, 601 Kalmia Ave., expressed concern about Haertling Houses that are less than
50 years old and suggested Historic Preservation Plan update address this topic.
6. DISCUSSION OF LANDMARK ALTERATION AND DEMOLITION
