A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE CITY OF
3 BOULDER'S 2017 COMPREHENSIVE ANNUAL
FINANCIAL REPORT AND INDEPENDENT AUDITOR'S
4 REPORTS

6 WHEREAS, Sections 12 and 105 of the Charter and Chapter 2-2-7 B.R.C., 1981, require the City
Council, by resolution, to appoint an auditor,who is a certified public accountant licensed to practice
7 in the State of Colorado and is well informed regarding governmental accounting and auditing; and
8
WHEREAS, the auditor is required to make a thorough and complete examination and audit of all
9 the financial accounts of the City,report thereon and make recommendations regarding the results of
10 that examination; and
1 I WHEREAS, based upon review of the 2017 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report,
12 Independent Auditor's Reports and discussions with city staff and CliftonLarsonAllen, the City's
13 Independent Auditor, the City Council Audit Committee recommends that City Council officially
accept the:

• 2017 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, and
15 . 2017 Independent Auditor's Reports

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
17 OF BOULDER, COLORADO, HEREBY ACCEPTS THE 2017 COMPREHENSIVE
ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT AND INDEPENDENT AUDITOR'S REPORTS.
