Hill All~ance When the Ross ConsulUng Study is completed the Pubhc Affa~rs Comrtuttee has volunteered to mee[ md~v~dually w~th
each property owner Cums suggested meehng w~th all stake holders m[h~s manner

lap[ops were taken and detecnves aze [rymg to pmpom[ who ~s mvolved Trafric actrv~ty was a httle b~[ h~gher than asual Assaul[s and
d~sorderly conduc[ types of cnmes were also reported and several alcohol t~ckets were issued Twenty arrests were made for the month
and were ma~nly wattants Seper addressed Back to School activ~ues saymg 30 officers are ass~gned to the hill to respond to complamt
acUvated calls September 4'" will be [he CU/CSU game w~[h these same officers ass~gned as well as SWAT o~cers There w~ll also be
an extra 25 officers ava~lable after the game The Pohce Department put compazable sta[s together to annc~pa[e the lund of act~v~ty that
will be occumng at the beAmm~g of school They are hopmg for a declme m numbers from last year Abrams asked ~f ~t was the Pol~ce
DepartmenYs mtennon ro be more forceful at the start of school and Seper responded that was theu plan They are encouragmg the
educauon aspect of enforcement and w~ll be handmg out mformahon brcehures when summonses are ~ssued Jen Korbehck has

AGENDA 1TEM 6- Hill Marketing Hogan presented posters for the Welcome Back Fest She repoRed August has been a very busy
month Plans for [he Welcome Back Fest are almost comple[e There will be three bands pefforrtung FoRy booths have s~gned up and
half of them are hill busmesses Hogan reported Homecortung ~s commg [ogether and menhoned Alex Garaa has worked hard Stagng
for the parade is around Farrand Field The parade route ~s through the hill busmess d~stnct to Ihe CU quad There w~ll be a pep rally
wIIh door pnzes grven away John Hessler w~ll be the honorary pazade martial along wrth CU Pres~dent Ehzabeth Hoffman and [he
Boulder Mayor The stage for the Welcome Back Fes[ w~ll be m front of the Pox Theater Colorado Dazly ~s the sponsor for the
Welcome Back Fes[ The Dwly Camera will be the med~a sponsor for Homeconung grvmg an ad for the largest sponsor Hogan also

AGENDA ITEM 7- Pariring Services Update Wmcer reported that the pavmg m the alleys was completed Rogers commented [ha[
i[ ~s a huge improvement New banners have been placed on the hdl They are phoros of CU acadertuc and athletlc celebnnes The
sidewalks were cleaned Monday mgh[ m preparanon for the return of students Rogers mquued about gemng pazlung revenue

AGENDA ITEM 9-Hill Alliance Update: Snuth spoke regardmg the Pubhc Affa~rs Comrtuttee, Homeconung, and the Welcome
Back Fest They w~ll be targenng freshman She reported The Hrll after hours was very successful The Da~ly Camera and pmperty
owner Lmda Foss have offered to sponsor After Hours and the Alhance ~s hopmg th~s will become a monthly event

AGENDA ITEM 11- Mattcrs from the Commissioners: Abrams commented she never sees the Tax~ stand bemg used and asked ~f
[here was a poss~bd~ty rt m~ght be used for Night R~ders Cunnmgham reported [hat this stand can no[ be used for profit purposes
Hogan sa~d she thmks this ~s an ~mportant and viable opnon for students ro get home m a safe manner Wmter commented that they can
look at optwns and wdl follow-up w~th Cunnmgham and others but revunded everyone cau[wn nceds to be taken wrth the pubLc nght of
way Abrams reques[ed [he BID mformauon Wmter will send ~t out

comment Wmter proposed d~fferent ways of presennng the study to the pubhc and asked for mput on this as well She suggested usmg
the Econortuc Vrtality Comrtuttee, imit~ng the pubhc and havmg Ross ConsWhng Bve a presenta~on and conduchng one-on-ones for

He asked wha[ the first two steps w~ll be Wmter responded Ihat she has sent ~t ro the above people and when she rece~ves theu
feedback she will d~stnbute the report for addmonal comments McMullen asked that the fimshed report be posted on the websrte and
suggested havmg Hogan handle the med~a d~smbunon to reach a larger populanon

accompl~sh this will come &om the fund reserves Wmter menGOned they w~ll look at pedes[nan, hansrt and bike traffic also Jobert
reported Sales Tac Revenues are down 1% for the mon[h of May Abrams reported a slow summer Curds rev~ewed [he May Sales Ta~c
Report and had several quesnons concemmg revenue which Jobert answered CurUs thanked all for their wnfidence m him and for
