forces to make Homecoming become a community-wide event
Please support these efforts as a 2004 Homecoming Sponsor. Help us revitalize the
Homecoming tradition~
The CU Homecommg celebration has been a tradition since 19o8. It combines the nostalgia of years
gone by with the energy and vibrancy of the University today It has involved the work of many
volunteers throughout the Unroersity family and the city We would like to expand those efforts.
This year's Homecoming focus is revitalization, with a strong emphasis on commurnty development.
Our goal is to see increased mvolvement withm the Unroersity and throughout the Boulder
community

Overview
The CU Boulder Homecoming sponsorship comm~ttee is seeking proposals from media
sponsors. Sponsorship opportunities are available in the three main categones newspaper,
radio and television
Goal
Estabiish an ongoing partnership with media outlets to promote CU's Homecommg celebrat~on
It is imperative our media partners reach both CU students and the greater Boulder
community
Audience
CU Students and the Boulder commurnty
Sponsorship Benefits
- Logo placement on all pnnted marketing communication matenals including advertisements,
postcards, flyers, posters, banners, shirts and press releases
- O~cial Media Sponsor Status
- Category exclusivity
- Verbal recognition from the stage dunng the parade, acknowledgmg you as a sponsor
- Participation m the parade
- Invitation to a dinner sponsored by CU's President Hoffman, CU-Boulder's Chancellor Richard
Byyny and CU Athletic Director Richard Tharp
Required Components
- A comprehensive advertismg schedule including:
o promotionai ads in late summer - call for float entry and general awareness
o heavy ads / mentions the week of the event for 6oth parade and pancake breakfast
o ad production
o community influence to gamer parhapation
o a post-event "thank you to our sponsors" ad
o at least one ad for the title sponsor
- Information demonstrating your company's abdity to reach both CU students and the
community at large
- Cash donation
