CITYOFBOULDER TRANSPORTATION ADVISORY BOARD NON-AGENDA ITEM MEETING DATE: August 11, 2003 AGENDA TITLE: Staff bnefing on the Transportahon Master Plan Update - Inttial Draft Document PRESENTER/S: Randall Rutsch, Senior Transportation Planner EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The Transportation Master Plan (TMP) Update process is now m Phase 4, Plan Adoprion. Since the TAB and Council approval of the Phase 3 work, staff has been working on wnting and assembling the plan document. Wiule we are scheduled to bnng the Update to the Board's for a recommendation to Council on Sept 8`h, we wanted the Board to see an initial draft for your comments and suggestrons. Fiscal Impacts: Budgetary: None at tlus hme Other Impacts: None Analysis: The Phase 4, Plan adopt~on process has been scheduled with the TMP Update coming to the TAB on September 8, 2003 Planning Board on September 11, 2003 and Council on September 16, 2003 for adoption. Staff has been working on assembling the work from the Update process mto a draft plan document, which is attached to this item. This document is very much a work m progress and shll contains some holes, but we wanted the chance to benefit from an mitial review of the document by the Board. Comments on the overall presentation of the matenal, the style and its content would be very helpful for staff. The Board is asked to remember that this an executive suinmary level document, and is supported by the TMP Web site which is also under development. We anticipate showing you some of the features of the Web site at you meehng and providmg you with the web address so that you can also have sense of the material that will be auailable there.
