SUBJECT: Call-up of the Planning Board decision of July 19, 2001 denying the Parks and
Recreation Department application to relocate Piatform Tennis courts at the North
Boulder Recreation Center as part of the expansion and redevelopment of the
center
At the May 21, 2001 Parks and Recreation AdvisoryBoard meeting, the PRAB reviewed options
for relocation of the platform tennis courts and approved a site at the North Boulder Recreation
Center.
When the item was considered by the Planning Board on July 19, 2001, the application was
danied.
The PRAB, at their July 23, 2001 meeting, passed a motion requesting that City Council call-up
the item to consider the North Boulder Recreation Center site as the appropriate location for
platform tennis.
