The goal of the study session is to get PRAB's feedback on the two options developed to date and to discuss the upcoming joint study session with City Council on February 12. Staffwill provide background to the PRAB on the program elements in each option and would like feedback from PRAB on the options as well as the other documents submitted. Please bring the copy of the Valmont City Park Resident Survey you received in last month's packet to the study session to assist with the discussion. Staff will also provide a verbal update from the Valmont Pazk Advisory Group (VPAG) meeting on December 13`h where the VPAG reviewed and provided input on the two options. Staff has started to prepare preliminary cost estimates, but has limited information at this point. We will continue to work on this over the next month. In an effort to provide historical context regazding the current site plan, a chart showing consolidated information from surveys and needs assessments wnducted since 2001, entitled Survey and Needs Assessment Analysis (Attachment E) is also provided. We will review the chart at the study session. This information will also be included in the study session packet for the joint Study Session with Council in February. The next steps will be for the project team to further refine the options and preliminary cost estimates in prepazation for a public hearing at the PRAB meeting on January 28 and the joint PRAB/City Council Study Session on February 12.
