PURPOSE:
The purpose of this item is to provide the Board with a final update to the Department's 2001
Work Plan.

yeaz, staff provided the Board with updates to the department work plan This item completes
the updaring process for the 2001 Work Plan

Despite considerable staffing challenges m 2001, 75 percent of prionty work plan (items
ident~fied as must do/no choice) were successfully completed *. Likewise, 86 percent of items
identified as "close to complerion/fimsh" were also successfully completed * Those items that
remam "In progress" or "Ongomg" will be addressed as part of the 2002 department plannmg
