A[otal of 11 bonngs were drilled to depths of about 5 to 26 feet m the structure and parkmg areas Selected soil ~`" samples obtained from the bormgs were tested in the laboratory ~ ~ In general, the results of our study mdicate that the upper portaon of the subsurface profile consist of fill The fill was found to be about 3 to 9 feet tkuck and consists predominantly of ciayey sands, sandy clays ~ and lesser amounts of silty sand. Immediately below the fill, nat~ve soils consistmg of interbedded ~ clayey sands and sandy clays and lesser amounts of relauvely clean sands extended to the depths _ explored.
