University of Colorado's Ed von Bleichert, JC Ancell, and Jack DeBell oversee construction at the
Universiry Memorial Center. The steel parts and rebar collecting in the bin at right will be rerycled
through an effort aimed to recover as much waste'as possible from the $20 million expansion of the
UMC. The project, which includes saving the sandstone and concrete from demolished areas, will
serve as a pilot program for the universiry system.
