Priscilla Hudson, Rand Smith, Tina Walker, Sam Hartman, Liz Abbott INVITED GUESTS:
TYPE OF MEETING: ✓ REGULAR CONTINUATION SPECIAL
SUMMATION: 1. The Commission unanimously approved the September minutes. 2. Priscilla Hudson discussed the
Acquisitions process with the Commission. 3. Liz Abbott reviewed the Main Library Addition Overview. 4. Liz also
gave a budget update from the City Council's October 2nd Meeting. 5 Sam Hartman updated the Commission on
the North Branch Library, and informed the Commission that the Landmarked Laser House will soon be put on the
market. 6. Sam also discussed the Regional Library Concept's new option of becoming the Regional Library
Authority. 7. Randy Smith passed out a rough draft of a web page to record e-mails, this was in response of Deeters
inquiry to develop a Commission Bulletin Board. 8. Bruce Staff asked if the Library was planning any special
programs dealing with the September 11 attack on the World Trade Center. 9. Shirley Deeter wanted to pass on
information given b Doris Haas and the Boulder Public Libra Foundation regarding the September Book Sale.
