TYPE OF MEETING: V REGULAR CONTINUATION SPECIAL
SUMMATION: 1. The Commission unanimously approved the August minutes. 2. Wendy Hall gave a update on what
is going on at the Carnegie Branch Library. 3. Sarn Hartman gave a North Branch Update, and told the Commission
that the Library received $48,000 Gates Grant. 4. Deeter spoke to the Commission about e-mail communication, and
inquired about the possibility of establishing a Library Commission Bulletin Board. 5. Aber wanted to explore the idea
of a city wide literacy program like Chicago is doing with "To Kill a Mockingbird". 6. Staff received a response from
the Library Foundation about the Commissions's inquiry on Book Sales, and gave this information to the Commission.
7. Grala spoke to the Commission about Count Wide Cost Sharing.
