Historic Preservation Ordinance Changes
The City Council voted 6-1 to adopt recommended changes to the historic preservation
ordinance in a public hearing on July 11`~. The ordinance will require a 3`d reading as a
result of some re-or~anization of chapter 10-13-4 after the first reading. This will take
place on August 15` .
Historic Preservation/Environmental Sustainability Integration Project
On July 18`h the C~ty Council reviewed is issue in a public heann~. As there were some
question regarding the implicahons as to the city's CLG status if Option B(selected
window replacement allowed depending on elevation), they deferred giving policy
direction until this was clarified. In generai, there seemed to be agreement on the City
Council that a hybrid between Options A& B should be further explored. Staff is
working with the Colorado Historical Society to craft such an option.

Norm Murphy has indicated that he is proceeding with the move of the historic house
(landmark application pending).
Landmarks Board Retreat
Scheduled for Au~ust 16`" between 2-6PM in the Presidents Room, Old Main Bldg.,
University of Colorado. If need be, discussion can continue at dinner following the
retreat.
Joint Landmarks/Environmental Advisory Board Meeting
Scheduled for September 13`h at 6PM in Council Chambers to discuss coordinat~on in
making changes to the Greenpoints program.

Scheduled for October 26`h at 6PM in City Council Chambers.
