Watson abstaining) a Landmark Alteration Certificate for the submitted work at 2$3~ 4`n Street (HIS2005-00172), adopting the staff inemorandum dated June 7, 2006 as findings of the board, subject to the following condition of approval: the applicant will submit color samples for final review and approval by the Design Review Committee prior to the issuance of a Landmark Al[eration Certificate. B. Public hearing and consideration of a landmark alteration certificate to demolish a c.1970, non-contributing building at 1505 Pear- Street and in its place construct a four- story commercial and residential building in the Downtown historic district (HIS2006- 00104). Applicant: Pete Weber, Coburn Development. Board members were asked to reveal any ex-parte contacts they may have had on this item. L. May, N. Kornblum and T. Plass reviewed this project at Landmarks Preservation Advisory Board Design Review Committee meeting and visited the site. David Biek, 3530 Smugler Circle, a Downtown Design Advisory Board member, served in an advisory role to [he Landmarks Preservation Advisory Board. Kornblum, the Landmarks Preservation Advisory ~ ~.~, Board issued (5-0) a I.a~tdiriazk Alteration Certificate for portions of the application at 1001 Spruce Street (HIS2005=~0106), adopting the staff inemorandum dated June 7, 2006 as findings of the board, subject to the following conditions of approval: 1. details regarding rear door and covered walkway, and finishes and colors for the proposed designs be reviewed and approved by the design review committee prior to the issuance of a Landmark Alteration Certificate 2. The retaining wall and fence at front of property citing guidelines 2.6.2 & 2.2.7. is denied. D. Public hearing and consideration of a landmark alteration certificate to rehabilitate add a rear addition to a contributing building at 1116 Maxwell Avenue in the Mapleton Hill historic district. The application includes the construction of a new foundation, a full basement, and demolition and reconstruction of two-thirds of the building's exterior walls (HIS2006-00066).
