1. CALL TO ORDER
The roll havmg been called, Chairpcrson Salanca declared a quorum at 6:06 p m and
the following business was conducted
2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
No mmutes were scheduled for approval
3. REPORT ON LANDMARK ALTERATION AND DEMOLITION PERMITS
ISSUED AND PENDING.
There were no comments
4. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION FOR ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA
There were no comments.
5. ACTION ITEMS
A. Public hearing and consideration of a request to grant a Landmark
Alteration Certificate for demolition of two existing accessory structures and
construction of a new accessory structure, located at 721 Concord, within the
Mapleton Hill Historic District.

Board members were asked to reveal any ex par'te contacts they may have had on thts
rtem. Ms Egger and Mr Salance reviewed the plans at a Landmarks Desagn Review

Paul Saporito, Histonc Boulder, spoke in support
Motion
On a motion by Ms. Durgin, seconded by Ms. Egger, the Landmarks Preservat~on
Advisory Board approved (4-0) the request for a Landmark Alteration Certificate for
demolitwn of existmg accessory structures garage for the property at 721 Concord,
adoptmg the staff inemorandum dated January 7, 2004 as findings of the Board
On a motion by Ms. Durgin, seconded by Ms Egger, the Landmarks Preservat~on
Advisory Board conditionally approved (4-0) the request for a Landmark Alteration
Certificate for construcrion of a new detached garage, and sub~ect to the followmg
cond~t~ons.
The applicant shali subm~t black and white photographs of the existmg garage
pnor to ~ssuance of a Landmark Alteration Cerhficate
The apphcant shall submit final plans, mcludmg a srte plan and all building
elevations at one-quarter mch scale, calling out all details and matenals, to the
Landmarks design review committee for final review and approval.
