Paddock, M. Wilson, Boulder Police Department QUASI - JUDICIAL MEETING OUTLINE OF AGENDA 1. Roll Call, Roll call was taken, Members Graves and West -Smith were absent. There was a quorum. Approval of Minutes (10- 17 -01). Tucker moved,, seconded by Mulligan, that the Authority approve the minutes with the correction that Phil Graves was not in attendance at the October meeting. Motion carries 3 -0. 2. Public Hearing and Consideration of an August 6, 2001 Application from CCRC, Inc., d/b /a La Mariposa Restaurant Boulder, 2845 28 St., Rene Cervantes, 11201 Prospect Rd., Longmont, CO, Pres./Reg. Mgr., Maria Del. R. Cervantes, 11201 Prospect Rd., Longmont, V.P. /Sec., for a New Hotel - Restaurant type liquor license. Mulligan moved. seconded by Tucker, that the Authoritv approve the New Hotel- Restaurant tvoe liquor license. Motion carries 3 -0. 3. Public Hearing and Consideration of an October 1, 2001 Application from Thunderbird Burgers, LLC, d/b /a Thunderbird Burgers, 108314 St., Brett Berger, 4903 Noble Park Pl., Boulder, Managing Member/Registered Manger, for a New Hotel- Restaurant type liquor license. The standing motion to approve failed 2 -1, with Member Tucker in favor. 4. Public Hearing and Consideration of a September 28, 2001 Application from 75, LLC, d/b /a Mateo, 1837 Pearl St., for a Request to Change, Alter or Modify the Premises of a Hotel- Restaurant type liquor license. Tucker moved, seconded by Mulligan, that the Authority approve the Request to Change, Alter or 5. Public Hearing and Consideration of an October 2, 2001 Renewal application from George Koutsoubos, d/b /a Double Eagle Restaurant, 2018 Broadway, for a Beer & Wine type liquor license. • 6. Consideration of a Request to waive Boulder Police Department alcohol training course for the Black -eyed Pea restaurant. This item was tabled to the December hearine. 7. Matters from the Deputy City Clerk 1) Set Neighborhood boundaries for December hearing. 1922 13' Street, LLC d/b /a D'Napoli Ristorante and Vineria 835 Walnut St. License Applied for: Hotel- Restaurant NORTH: Maxwell St. Ext. WEST: Y St. SOUTH: University EAST: 17 St. Tucker moved, seconded by Wallace. that the Authority approve the boundaries as set forth above. Motion carries 3 -0. Long's Inc. d/b /a Tsing Tao 607 A. South Broadway License Applied for: Hotel- Restaurant NORTH: Ash Ext. WEST: Lehigh SOUTH: Gillaspie Dr. EAST: Moorhead Tucker moved, seconded by Wallace. that the Authority approve the boundaries as set forth above. Motion carries 3 -0. • • Moya Bakeries & Restaurants, LLC d/b /a Vallarta House 3320 Arapahoe Ave. License Applied for: Hotel- Restaurant NORTH: Pearl St. WEST: 28 SOUTH: Baseline EAST: Foothills Tucker moved, seconded by Wallace, that the Authority approve the boundaries as set forth above. _ Motion carries 3 -0. Set date for December hearing. • Tucker moved, seconded by Wallace. that the Authority chanze the date of their December hearing. The December hearing has now been scheduled for December 20 at 1:30 mm.. Motion carries 3 -0. 8. Matters from the Assistant City Attorney 9. Matters from the Boulder Police Department 10. Matters from the Chair and Members of the Authority - DUI report discussion with licensees. This item was tabled to the December 20 meeting.
