Good Afternoon Everyone, a belated Happy New Years to all. J
For those of you that do not subscribe to the Liquor Divisions Bulletin announcement here are the
links to the latest ones. Most specific would be the 17-06 that references the requirement for the
Wholesale Confirmation listed in Reg. 47-305.
In this bulletin it lists in the overview section that the Affidavit of Transfer is no longer required by
the State to be submitted for Liquor License Transfer Applications. Be it known that the City of
Wheat Ridge and other jurisdictions will still require this to be filed by the applicant; we probably
just won’t be sending it to the State in their packet.
This affidavit or other such documents that you might decide to use, is the only one that is signed
and dated by the current licensee that authorizes the transfer of the liquor license. My thoughts are
that if you do not have such a document in place for transfers, then you might be open for future
litigation. It might also warrant another step in your application process to verify from the current
licensee, that he/she or they are in fact willing to transfer the license.
As an example, please see the (ahem) revised, draft form that we will be using for our purposes. “)

AFFIDAVIT OF TRANSFER AND STATEMENT OF COMPLIANCE
Pursuant to the requirements of 12-4 7-303(3)(b ), Colorado Revised Statutes, Licensee hereby
states that all accounts for alcohol beverages sold to the Applicant are:
D Paid in full. There are no outstanding accounts with any Colorado Wholesalers.

beverages that are unpaid:
