A RESOLUTION APPOINTING AN INDEPENDENT AUDITOR TO EXAMINE TH~
FINANCIAL ACCOUNTS OF THE CITY OF BOULDER FOR THE 2001 FISCAL
YEAR
WHEREAS, Sections 12 and 105 of the Charter and Chapter 2-2-7 B.R.C., 1981, require
the City Council, by resolution, to appoint an auditor, who is a certified pubiic accountant licensed
to pracfice in the State of Colorado and is well informed regarding governmental accounting and
audiYing; and
WHEREAS, the auditor is required to make a thorough and complete examination and audit
of all the finaricial accounts of the City and report and make recommendations regarding the results
of that examination; and
WHEREAS, the City Council Audit and Finance Committee has reviewed competitive
proposa7s and recommended the frm of Swanhorst, Dragon & Cutler.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF TH~
CITY OF BOULDER, COLORADO HEREBY APPOINTS THE FIRM SWANHORST,
DRAGON & CUTLER, LLP TO PERFORM THE ANNUAL AUDIT OF THE CITY
RECORDS FOR THE 2001 FISCAL YEAR.
