A RESOLUTION EXCLUDING AN ANNEXED PROPERTY FROM
THE FOUR MILE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the City of Boulder has annexed certain territory, which territory was formerly
provided with fire protection by the Four Mile Fire Protection District ("DistricY');
WIIEREAS, the City can provide fire protection to that territory;
WHEREAS, the City is presently providing such protection, and has done so since the parcel was
annexed;
WHEREAS, the District will not be harmed by exclusion of that territory from its jurisdiction; and
WIIEREAS, the owner of that territory will be hazmed by paying property t~es to both the City
and the District for the same fire protection services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COLTNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BOULDER, COLORADO, that:
Section 1. The City of Boulder, Colorado, will provide fire protection service to the territory
specified in Eachibit A, which service had previously been provided by the Four Mile Fire Protection
District. Because this protecdon is already being provided, this resolution will necessarily be, and
continue to be, effective on January 1, 2006.
