BMoCA.CommunityEventsFund Human Relations Commission, 2013 Community Event Fund Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art Program Chart PROGRAM EVENT DATE SUMMARY A traditional holiday Día del Niño April 27, 2013 in Mexican culture that celebrates children hosted at BMoCA with live music, dance performances, storytelling, art workshops, and food and drink. Open Wall gives over OPEN WALL June 28 & November 75 artists an 15, 2013 opportunity to share their work in a one- night, self-curated exhibition and silent auction hosted at BMoCA.  A daylong public event hosted by Out Boulder PRIDEFEST September 15, 2013 (approx.) Park district. BMoCA will offer free museum admission to PrideFest attendees and vendors, host educational art- making workshops, and present a live performance by a contemporary artist. BMoCA will host youth and adults from two GUIDED TOURS FOR Spring, Summer, and partner organizations, YOUTH & ADULTS WITH Fall Exhibitions Imagine! and DISABILITIES Daytrippers, and provide free hour-long guided tours of art exhibitions to impact roughly 250 participants in 2013. BMoCA will present SPANISH TRANSLATIONS Spring, Summer, and bilingual exhibition Fall Exhibitions didactics and gallery guides for three major exhibitions scheduled for 2013. These materials detail the backgrounds, the methodology and ideology behind the artworks, and the art historical context for the exhibition.
